Retractable Car Canopy - Automatic Roof Rack Mounted Motorized Awning

This is an automatic car umbrella built differently from the portable pole-and-suction-cup kind. It mounts to a roof rack and stays there. Press the remote and the canvas retracts into its own housing, no removing it, folding it, or setting it back up the next time you drive.

This attaches to a roof rack, which isn't included and isn't something we sell. Roof racks are widely available from auto parts stores, and since they typically need to match your specific vehicle, have your car's make, model, and year, or your roof dimensions, ready when you shop for one.

An 8-slot brushed motor rated at roughly 202 lbf (900N) drives the canvas in and out of its housing on remote command. The detachable battery runs on DC 5V at 1A.

The mounting hardware and tools needed to attach the unit to your roof rack are included. The roof rack itself, the crossbars your vehicle mounts to, is the only piece sold separately.
